Juggernaut is now over 1.5 years old. Now is a new dawn. We look to shape and reinvigorate JGN’s future into something exciting and bright. Let us share our vision for one of the key components for JGN moving forward: charity.

We will explore the vision, components, launch strategies, and much more.

Past, Present, and Future

Not so long ago, we published a blog detailing the past, present, and future of the JGN project [link].

In the blog, we talked about some of the things we have accomplished so far, like getting investments from Binance, SoftBank (UK), or Goldman Sachs (CA), but also what the future of JGN could look like.

We have been working on a new image, with updated branding, and more focused ecosystem components.

One of the most important parts of this new effort is charity. We want JGN to be Unstoppable DeFi. Part of that mission is helping everyone get access to new innovations.

We are very fortunate to be able to develop JGN, and truly believe that DeFi can have a massive positive impact on the world.

DeFi For Good

We want to use DeFi for good, leveraging all our existing components for great causes all around the world.

When looking at different options to bring back the DeFi essence of Juggernaut, we saw that there was a big potential in the charity space, that hasn’t been explored that much: DAOs for good.

JGN wants to continue growing and expanding, and we think a great way to connect with the project is to be part of a positive change.

With charity components, JGN becomes something else, a unique project, with a clear product proposition, and a vision to make the world a better place.

You will be able to support JGN knowing that you are impacting so many different lives across the globe.

DeFi for Good is not a new product line. It is a synergistic platform, that will work with all of our different components.

JGN Makes Charity Easy & Fun

We will use what JGN does good for charity!

Now, with DeFi for good, JGN will continue to revolutionize the DeFi space. We are creating a synergistic and cohesive ecosystem, full of exciting use cases, and a lot of charity applications!

Also, while it’s awesome to support great causes, we think that we also need to go one step further for community engagement.

Leveraging all our existing components, including our DAO and DJGN membership, we can gamify the experience.

We can make donations, token burns, staking, NFT offerings…

The great thing about this new direction is that we can make a positive impact in the world while also developing and expanding Juggernaut.

People participating in the JGN charity will also have fun, and participating through our DAO will be able to vote on the best use for the donations.

Through our DAO system, we will start looking into great causes to support, leveraging our partners and investors’ network.

There will be voting about different ways to move forward, as well as which causes to support, and for how long.

We will employ a new unique and specialized mechanism as a way to decide the causes. More details to come soon.

We will integrate some exciting DeFi components, like burns, staking, automatic crypto donations, and more.

We can do exciting staking and burns. For example, if we reach x amount of JGN staked in a pool, we will burn the same amount of JGN and match half of it to a charity of choice by the community.

We will use our DJGN + DAO system to expand the reach of the JGN charity, as well as gamify the experience of the people participating and donating to great causes around the world.

The JGN charity has an NFT component, where NFTs will be used as a medium to reach more people, make the process more fun and accessible, and use our minting feature on JuggerWORL to improve the potential of the JGN charity.

We can release new collections with proceeds going to the causes, with super rare NFTs, and also NFT games.

JGN has already done 5 successful blind boxes, and we can leverage this for charity, with proceeds going to a charity of choice. We can also match the amount raised in these blind boxes.

We have done it, now with charity + DAO voting!

We can create exciting campaigns where if you donate X, we’ll donate Y and burn Z, which will enhance the experience of the people participating.

JGN Charity Vision

This is not only about doing good but also a way to help JGN grow as a project. It’s a win-win, and we think this could help JGN in terms of branding and positioning.

We want to create a seamless suite of tools to empower any charity to launch a DAO and powerful NFTs in one of the top NFT marketplaces, JuggerWORLD.

JGN charity will also expand its DeFi components, integrating new offerings and cool ideas. We don’t want to spoil the fun, but we have some great ideas to expand the JGN charity.

JGN Charity: DeFi for Good Making Noise Already

So far, DeFi for Good has gained a lot of traction already!

The recent JGN Charity announcement has excited many cryptocurrency influencers and advocates. It has even caught the attention of famous worldwide-known DJ Steve Aoki (with over 8M followers on Twitter).

Steve Aoki, a public big believer in crypto, has shown his support of the DeFi for Good movement, and the power of blockchain in the charity space.

JGN and Steve Aoki have donated $50k in JGN for humanitarian efforts in Ukraine!

Also, to celebrate this incredible occasion with Steve Aoki, we have done a Give + Burn, burning the same amount of JGN tokens as the donation!

The Give + Burn happened on April 4th 2022, and 381,199 $JGN (worth ~$78k at that time) were burned!

We have also partnered with NBA star Michael Carter-Williams, who is a huge fan of crypto. He supports the JGN Charity and DeFi for Good Initiative!

The Give + Burn happened on April 26th 2022, and 394,633$JGN (worth ~$43.4k at that time) were burned!

We will also be looking to do more strategic burns related to the JGN Charity moving forward.

Community Involvement

A project is only as good as its community. We have big plans for the JGN charity and will be releasing new details as we move forward with it.

With your help, we can make a tremendous positive impact in the lives of so many people through blockchain technology.

DeFi for Good Launch Announcement

We are very excited to collaborate with Steve Aoki and Michael Carter-Williams to launch the JGN Charity initiative.

Now is the time to get the community involved in DeFi for Good! With your help, we can decide which charities to support, and how to help them!

We will do a dJGN vote to select a charity of your choice in the near future. We have created a roadmap to detail the six different phases of this JGN DeFi for Good Community Launch.

Phase 1️⃣ → Announcement & Scope

Official initial scope announcement. We will detail the voting structure and timing of the various phases, and outline how the community launch will work.

Phase 2️⃣ → First DAO Integration & Involvement

Initiate first field of DAO voting participants. Community participation, feedback, and ideas encouraged.

The best ideas will receive a $JGN prize!

Phase 3️⃣ → dJGN DAO Voting Begins

Official vote on the charity of choice. Participation through Diamond JGN. Instructions will be shared in the near future.

Phase 4️⃣ → Further Outline of Participating Charities

Extra information and overview of the charities participating in the voting in order for the DAO to make the best decisions possible.
